About the agency

Philip Edwards started the agency in 1997 with a simple goal: make it easier for people to get the insurance they need at a competitive price.

It began with auto insurance for customers of Philip's ignition interlock business. As more of them came to us for coverage, that side of the business kept growing. What started as a small auto operation became an independent agency serving customers throughout Missouri, Kansas and Oklahoma, with Insurance Providers offices in Joplin, Carthage and Springfield.

Today we help individuals, families and small businesses with a much broader range of coverage: auto, homeowners, renters, motorcycle, boat, RV, manufactured and mobile home, business liability and business owners policies, commercial auto, workers compensation and group health insurance.

What to expect when you call

Insurance does not need to be complicated. Tell us what you need and we will explain your options, compare the companies available to you, and find the combination of price and coverage that makes sense.

Come into one of our offices and talk to us in person, or let us handle most of it by phone and electronically — we take payments, collect electronic signatures, email insurance cards and policy documents, make policy changes, and help when questions come up after the policy is issued.

The three Insurance Providers offices are in Joplin, Carthage and Springfield.

We are licensed in Missouri, Kansas and Oklahoma.
